FashionCollaborative makes it easy to collaborate with friends and
colleagues in the fashion industry. With blogs, photos, videos,
discussions, and a host of other features, FashionCollaborative
lets you share what's interesting and important to you. Our diverse
community includes members from around the world and from many
different cultures and backgrounds. These common sense Community
Guidelines are provided to help keep the community safe and
productive for everyone.
Some Do's and Don’ts when using FashionCollaborative:
DO:
- Use all the features of FashionCollaborative to create the
richest possible experience. Upload photos and videos, fill out
your profile, create a blog, start a discussion, or just make some
friends. The more you share with other members, the richer your
interactions will be.
- Be a valued member of the FashionCollaborative
community. It's easy to forget online, but there's a human
being behind every FashionCollaborative blog, image, video, and
discussion. Be considerate and respectful. Give your fellow
FashionCollaborative members the same consideration you'd give them
in person, and treat them the way you'd like to be treated.
- Agree to disagree, respectfully. This applies to your
interactions in blog comments, messages, and all other
communications. If you disagree with someone, a bit of respectful
debate is healthy, but please remember we all have the right to
express our beliefs in a safe and respectful environment.
- Take action if you come across offensive content. If you
are offended by content on a FashionCollaborative page, you have
options. You can leave the page and not visit it again. If the
person is connected to you as a friend, you can remove the person
from your Friends list. You can also ignore the person so you do
not receive communications from the person. If you think the page
contains a violation of the FashionCollaborative Terms of Service,
you can report content, a person's behaviour, or both by e-mailing
help@fashioncollaborative.com.
- Enjoy FashionCollaborative. Make new friends, see the
fashion industry through other people's eyes, participate, and have
fun!
DON'T:
- Post text and other content that is sexually graphic or
otherwise adult-oriented. We strive to keep
FashionCollaborative appropriate for all participants. Content that
you make public on FashionCollaborative can be viewed by anyone,
whether the person is logged in or not and regardless of age. If
you post adult content it is subject to removal and you may receive
a warning. If you repeatedly post adult content, your membership
may be deactivated.
- Upload photos, text, or other content in public or private
areas of FashionCollaborative that violates state, federal, or
local law. Illegal content does not belong in our community. If
you post it, we will deactivate your membership and take
appropriate action that may include reporting you to the
authorities.
- Upload photos, text, or other content that violates
copyright or other intellectual property laws. You may post
copyrighted content only with permission from the owner. Respect
copyright law and the intellectual property, privacy or other
rights of third parties. If you post content that infringes these
rights, we may deactivate your membership.
- Post content that is violent, racist, incendiary, or
otherwise objectionable. Such content may be removed and your
membership may be deactivated. We want all our community members to
feel safe and welcome here.
- Harass, abuse, impersonate, or intimidate others. Being
a valued member of our community includes being considerate and
respectful of others. If we receive a valid complaint about your
conduct, we will send you a warning or deactivate your
membership.
- Use your FashionCollaborative membership to solicit or spam
others. This includes selling goods or services and/or posting
identical messages repeatedly to other members' blog comments,
mailboxes, or other communication channels. If you spam or solicit
others, your membership may be deactivated.
FashionCollaborative’s Response to Violations: We do not
edit FashionCollaborative profiles, blogs, or other user-created
content. But we reserve the right to remove content that we
determine, in our sole discretion, is inappropriate and/or in
violation of these Community Guidelines or the FashionCollaborative
Terms of Service. Depending on the level of offence, you may risk
deactivation of your FashionCollaborative membership and everything
associated with it, including emails, groups, posts, images,
videos, and profile information.
Your Responsibilities as a FashionCollaborative Member: Your
use of FashionCollaborative is subject to these Community
Guidelines and the FashionCollaborative Terms of Service.
FashionCollaborative reserves the right to modify these guidelines
at any time. If you are unsure whether your content is appropriate
or consistent with these policies, please err on the side of
caution and do not post it on FashionCollaborative.
